UX/UI Designer

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our Caelor Team.

As a key member of the cross-functional team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to define user experience experiences for Atlassian products, which is important to successfully build apps on top of our cloud platform.

As the Product Designer, you’ll drive and contribute to the teams’ strategy and vision in improving the trust posture of the cloud platform. You’ll also have an important role to play in developing the design craft by mentoring other designers on the team.

Your responsibilities

  • Make a substantial impact at scale: as a designer involved in everything from product strategy to UI implementation, your work will have an incredible customer impact

  • Have a large amount of ownership and autonomy across the entire design process; rather than designing individual features, you’ll have the opportunity to define the end-to-end experience

  • Collaborate with some of the industry’s leaders and big customers. We take design seriously and are on a mission to become an experience-led company

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of professional UX/product design experience, ideally designing complex enterprise-level software → Ideally, Figma.

  • Ability to drive user-centered design process to tackle complex problems for our customers and marketplace partners

  • Skills at async and written communication: creating proposals, driving decisions, and showcasing ideas

  • Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills: you can demonstrate the ability to work across multiple teams, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions

  • Flexibility and openness to the iterative design process – constantly sketching, showing work in progress, validating with customers and data, iterating, shipping, learning, and growing.

  • Experience with conducting and applying customer research, including design thinking, prototyping, and conceptual modeling

  • Ability to define projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporate feedback.

  • Experience improving processes and methodologies to drive up product quality, team velocity, and customer empathy

  • Ideally, you’ve got some technical experience, and you understand your way around code, even if just at a basic level, have openness to learning and deep diving into developer platform concepts, and can link architectural decisions to potential customer experience impacts.
